Boann Irish Felt Designs is the shopfront of a talented crafter and felt artist Caoimhe Tuthill, based in the Boyne Valley. Named after Boann, the goddess of the Boyne River, it is no surprise that Caoimhe's one off bespoke works are all heavily inspired by the wild and wonderful local Irish landscape, and in particular the Megalithic artwork found at nearby Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth.
A wide range of motifs or symbols are used in the stone carvings found at Newgrange; circles, spirals, arcs, chevrons and lozenges. These designs have heavily influenced the brand identity and used across the website.
Swing tags, fashion labels and product information cards were also developed for use in retail outlets.
